Carrying a camera has become somewhat of an obsession. I often take pictures and immediately want to share them with the world. It's that feeling of seeing something when you're on your own and wishing there was someone else right there with you for you to say "hey did you see that?". I'm fascinated by the world around us and have never stopped being amazed at how much inspiration is out there. This photography blog is about the simple things in life; the people we see everyday, the landscapes we admire, the places we travel to, the fashion trends we set and follow and a whole lot of other quirky stuff. Thanks for visiting. Bright Gurupira.
Taf and Tasha tied the knot on 29 th March 2014 at the Custard Factory in Birmingham. They wanted a fun filled party wedding with a grungy retro feel. Tasha looked so gorgeous in her custom fit dress with her glam afro corn-row hair and make up by Zah Inc. Taf’s classic suit was accessorised with a yellow tie and superman cuff links, nothing but super hero stuff babe! There are so many things we love about this wedding, pretty flowers, confetti, deco by Ideal Occasions, their guest book sign plaque in wooden stencils of their first initials…. oh so brilliant. We salute you TnT- dynamite stuff!!
Having moved from the South of the Country last year, it’s been a while since we’ve been to a fashion show. This weekend we also attended the Photography Show at the NEC in Birmingham and woke up this morning feeling inspired to experiment with some post processing. The first photographs that came to mind were those that we captured quite some time ago at Africa Fashion Week London. Since the very first fashion show, we’ve always thought that whilst it’s important to capture the gorgeous designs, we never want to miss out on anything else on the day. Often after marking our spot at the photographers’ platform, we always take time to photograph the guests, models and fashion designers off stage. It was a pretty good day today; bringing back our love for fashion photography. It’s time to get those press passes for 2014.
